Painting Trip to Mull of Kintyre

I am recently returned from a wonderful painting trip to the Mull of Kintyre. We stayed in a beautiful cottage, right on the seashore, called Island View Cottage [http://www.liveontheedge.co.uk/Island_View.html]. Owners Lesley and Peter were wonderful hosts and a lot of work was done. Here is a page from my sketchbook. The views across Macrihanish Bay to Uisaed were stunning and encompassed amazingly clear views of the snowy Antrim Hills, in Northern Ireland. From Port nam Marbh, there were also rare glimpses of the Paps of Jura, also covered in snow and Islay, often being soaked with rain. It couldn't have been any more inspiring...
