"Even More Alchemy": Winter Exhibition at The Tatha Gallery, Newport-On-Tay, Fife

Article text
"Enduring, Common IV", inspired by a poem called "Nasturtiums" by Diana Hendry and one of a series of four watercolours, on blind embossed paper with pure pigment and gold-leaf.
I am delighted to be showing four pieces of my work at the very beautiful Tatha Gallery, in Newport-On-Tay, across the water from Dundee as part of their Winter Exhibition, opening on Saturday 10th November and continuing right up until Christmas Eve! Here's what the lovely folk at the gallery have to say about the exhibition and the ethos of this special place: "We believe that art can have a positive influence on lives. Our winter show is a celebration of the magic and the joy that can be experienced when surrounding ourselves with the things we love. The conscious and the subconscious enjoyment of art can be compared to an alchemical process of transformation where the colours, moods, stories, scenes and moments combine to create a gold tinted aura of alchemy."
